We are actively hiring for a Business Consultant.

Your Role:

Business Consultants have extensive industry experience and have extensive analysis and improvement tools and methods in several areas of business operations. Proficient at scoping, chartering and leading all phases of project/program management and business analysis and design established within the enterprise. Works and collaborates with others in either a lead or support role as business needs demand. Capable of utilizing all business analysis and documentation tools and techniques commonly in use within the enterprise.

Your work:

  • Under general supervision, responsible for project management and business consulting activities for assigned projects of diverse scope and complexity.
  • Responsible for managing the relationship between Mobilitas Claims and Mobilitas IT teams for planned system enhancements, prioritization and scope of work, and overall direction of work as requested by the business.
  • Responsible for managing the body of work associated with Mobilitas Claims Value stream for ESIO (Enterprise Strategic Initiatives Office), partnering with personal lines claims team on projects and initiatives, and other varying departments within and external to Mobilitas Claims.
  • Responsible for identifying and championing the need for appropriate perspectives in business discussions and projects. Uses business knowledge and consulting skills to understand and improve performance in imaginative ways.
  • Responsible for quality assurance and fit to business objectives of own work products and/or those of other resources being supervised.
  • Plans and implements redesign initiatives.
  • Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
  • Delivers presentations and may lead training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
  • Communicates team progress.
  • Performs cost and benefit analyses and provides observations and recommendations based on industry best practices.
  • Uses advanced business analysis and improvement methods, tools and techniques, project management, change management, consulting to manage large projects and provide consulting to address large scale/highly complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of business, process and people factors.
  • Works with program and project leadership to define program/project scope, validates capabilities that integrate across projects with no overlaps, gaps or conflicts.
  • Accountable for project management and business consulting activities for assigned projects of diverse scope and complexity. Leads and facilitates any required project meeting.
  • Partners with the business on strategy, structure, management and operations of a division.
  • Identifies options and provides recommendations, as well additional resources and/or the implementation of solutions across a wide variety of services such as business strategy, marketing, financial and management controls, human resources, information technology, e-business and operations.
  • Reviews preliminary programming of projects based on interdependencies, business priorities, and capacity.
  • Identifies cross-business unit collaboration opportunities.
  • Manages demand and capacity of program delivery resources.
  • Reviews and makes recommendations on business analysis capability and team as it relates to solution delivery; a team whose members have the skills for success.
Required Experience, Education and Skills
  • Bachelor\'s degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in IT SAFe/Agile or Insurance Operations experience
  • 8+ years consulting experience

The national average salary range for this position is $134,100 - $149,000. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $121,320 - $179,000. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 12% of eligible pay.
