Location Requirement: This is a hybrid role in NYC.

Salary: $100-110k base salary + competitive commission structure

Salary is an estimated range provided by JBC and is commensurate with experience.

Our client, an industry-leading Marketing/Advertising and Digital Media Agency is seeking a Business Development Manager. The team is seeking to partner with a Business Development Manager proven track record of success with sales in an agency environment combined with excellent client management skills and a strong understanding of digital marketing. This is the ideal role for a results and data-driven Business Development leader.

Responsibilities

• The Business Development Manager will focus on sales and building new business by conducting client sales presentations and educating clients on the agency services
• Responsible for leading RFI/RFP submissions, creating budgets, briefing internal stakeholders, building proposals, and defining deliverables and project goals; support with client onboarding
• Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals, forecast and track sales
• Identify areas of opportunity within the beauty and wellness industry, develop healthy pipelines, and cultivate relationships with potential future clients
• Build sales strategies that support business goals and objectives
• Stay abreast of industry and client challenges and identify marketing solutions that will support client business

• Minimum 5 years of Marketing/Advertising and Digital Media sales experience
• The drive to develop a strong network of clients within the Beauty, Wellness, and Personal Care CPG industries
• Positive attitude, collaborative work approach, and a proven track record of success in developing business with new clients in an agency environment
• Creative, excellent written and verbal communication, and strong presentation skills
• Willing to travel as needed
