About the role

This position will support Business Development of Snack EUM in the North America region independently and side by side with Snack EUM lead. Ideal candidate will be able to identify and communicate solutions within the Kerry portfolio while building customers\' confidence in our expertise and unlocking further opportunity. The Snack BD will support account managers in the communication and activation of Kerry\'s key technologies with a very strong focus on a building a pipeline that will meet the Snack EUM\'s growth ambitions.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting the growth of the Snack EUM in NA in alignment with EUM Leadership, Commercial Sales and Tech BDs.
  • Internal Training
  • Customer demos/troubleshooting
  • Support delivering EUM KPIs by driving Strategic Initiatives
  • Complete understanding of EUM Strategic priorities and support the ongoing evolution of strategic plan.
  • Determining innovation requirements in line with EUM and customer needs.
  • Link globally with Technology BDs and peers to ensure we are leveraging knowledge from other regions and implementing those that are relevant.
  • SME knowledge, resources to support key projects and support when needed at customer engagements.
  • Work closely with EUM Leader and Technology team driving strategic initiatives to deliver growth in key accounts.
  • Work closely with the Marketing teams to position technologies into relevant and impactful ways to engage with customers and stakeholders. Presenting those technologies to stakeholders.
  • Work with Taste and AH&N BDs to ensure the appropriate portfolios & collections are available.
  • Collaboratively develop business cases for innovation to support in the Snack EUM.
  • Develop strong cross functional relationships within Kerry, to execute projects and drive the Snack EUM strategy forward in partnership with Snack EUM Lead.
Qualifications and skills
  • BS and/or MS, Ph.D in Food Technology/Science or other related fields
  • Dry blending, spray drying, hot extrusion
  • Commercial professional with a minimum of 5 years\' of experience.
  • Sector experience of at least 5 years for B2B food and beverage or private label.
  • Strong customer interfacing and customer driven technical support
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to interface across functions within the business
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills and ability Influence Without Authority
