Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Business Development/Marketing Specialist for our produce wholesale company. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding our market reach, and enhancing brand visibility. The ideal candidate will have a marketing degree and prior experience in creating marketing materials and packaging. Proficiency in graphic design programs such as Coral and AI is essential. Additionally, this position requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the company at trade shows and manage all social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

Business Development:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company\'s customer base and increase revenue.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, wholesalers, and industry partners.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote our products and services and generate new leads.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, and sales contracts to secure new partnerships.

Marketing:

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and promote our produce offerings.
• Create engaging and compelling content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, blogs, and newsletters.
• Manage all social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
• Design marketing materials, packaging, and product labels using graphic design programs such as Coral and AI.
• Conduct market analysis to identify customer preferences, trends, and opportunities for product positioning.
• Monitor and analyze marketing campaigns\' performance, gather insights, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, market changes, and emerging technologies to drive innovation in marketing strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development and marketing, preferably in the produce or wholesale industry.
• Proficiency in graphic design programs such as Coral and AI to create marketing materials and packaging.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and experience managing social media campaigns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative marketing strategies.
