• We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and energetic Business Intelligence Analyst at the UVM Health Network Data Management Office! As an integral player in the UVMHN Enterprise Analytics team, you will immerse yourself in the vibrant and fast-paced environment of our Emergency Department, focusing primarily on its analytic needs while also having the chance to explore other areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create Impactful Reporting Content: Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting content, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and clarity.
• Engage with Partners: Work hand-in-hand with DMO customers and partners, guiding them through current reporting options, usage, and source data systems.
• Drive Technical Data Analysis: Design, develop, maintain, test, and document transformative reports, dashboards, metrics, and extracts with tools like PowerBI and SQL.
• Proactive Customer Engagement: Identify issues and opportunities to elevate data management and reporting efforts, working directly with customers to understand and translate their business needs into data requests.

Be the Go-To Expert:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the reporting environment and be the go-to person for end users, assisting them in finding, creating, validating, and maintaining reports.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, business administration, medical sciences or other relevant field is required.

Epic Proficiency (or higher) is required or achieved within 120 days of hire with a maximum of three attempts.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years or more working in an analytic or similar function.
• Experience with Epic (or another EHR) implementation/support preferred, but not required.
• Experience in a healthcare setting highly desirable
• Able to complete task level work with no supervision
• Able to manage small to medium sized initiatives with supervision/support
