We are looking for a dependable Business Operations Manager to keep our company running smoothly. As the Business Operations Manager, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for overseeing all our operations department activities to meet company goals. You will make sure that all employees have the materials, equipment and information they need to succeed in their roles. Your goal is to develop a group of hardworking, self-motivated team members who respect your supervision style. To make sure tasks are completed on time, you must be an excellent organizer and have strong communication skills. Ultimately, you should ensure smooth operations for our entire company by implementing procedures and work standards. Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day work of the business to ensure effective and efficient operations throughout the company.
Analyze data, such as metrics, costs, business plans and employee performance to identify areas of opportunity and suggest recommendations for improvement.
Ensure optimal operational performance by setting objectives and monitoring progress.
Identify and develop opportunities for improvements, processes and systems through new technologies, process optimization, cost cutting measures etc., to lead operations in a more productive direction.
Suggest and implement process improvements as necessary to increase efficiency and enhance quality at each stage of production.
Work with all other departments to ensure smooth workflow, including quality control, packaging and distribution. Will be required to lift and move shipments, some exceeding 50 pounds. Occasional forklift use is required.
Manage inventory to minimize cost of goods sold, maximize profit margin and meet statutory requirements for safe work environments.
Social Media knowledge and posting to keep the company top of mind.
Ordering, Invoicing, Scheduling, and Billing (AR/AP) as well as coordinating repairs and service calls.
Answer phones and questions about our products and services. Business appearance and people skills a must. You are an ambassador for the company\'s image.
Ability to be patient and work with the public, assisting people and understanding their expectations in an effort to satisfy them. We are a people business.
