Job Overview: PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Serve guests, bread, water and butter upon their arrival, and provide refills as needed. Remove used tableware between courses; clear and reset tables after guests leave. SCOPE This position reports to the Assistant Restaurant Manager/ Assistant Director. This role has no supervision responsibilities. RESPONSIBILITIES \xe2\x80\xa2 Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Spirit Hospitality, LLC and Johnny\xe2\x80\x99s Italian Steakhouse \xe2\x80\xa2 Set tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Clear tables after guests, wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths or replace dirty tablecloths. \xe2\x80\xa2 Promptly clean table tops, chairs, booths, and the floor under and around tables between guests. \xe2\x80\xa2 Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course. \xe2\x80\xa2 Locate items requested by guests. \xe2\x80\xa2 Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning. \xe2\x80\xa2 Take soiled tableware to the designated area, and unload, sort and stack silverware, dishes, and glassware for cleaning. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties to facilitate customer service. \xe2\x80\xa2 Carry food, dishes, trays, or silverware from kitchens or supply areas to serving counters. \xe2\x80\xa2 Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove trash. \xe2\x80\xa2 Serve food to guests when servers need assistance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Promptly greet guests as they are seated and serve ice water, coffee, rolls, or butter to guests. \xe2\x80\xa2 Thank guests as they leave. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays. \xe2\x80\xa2 Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment in food service areas or other areas of the restaurant, and mop or vacuum floors. \xe2\x80\xa2 Fill beverage or ice dispensers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Communicate with server and host or hostess to expedite efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service. \xe2\x80\xa2 Respond appropriately to guest requests, and communicate guest requests to server as needed Job Type: Part-time Pay: $11.40 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 per week Benefits:
