Prefer an individual who is process driven and has an analytical mindset to ensure cost efficiency, product quality and reliability.
To be successful, you must possess effective communication abilities, negotiation skills and strong analytical mindset. This role includes regular interaction with internal customers and external suppliers. Ideal candidate must be an approachable, polite and professional collaborator.
Working knowledge of ERP/MRP and Kanban systems is required.
Your day will be filled with these responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 Research, select and purchase quality products and materials.
\xc2\xb7 Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate for best pricing.
\xc2\xb7 Process requisitions and communicate status of orders.
\xc2\xb7 Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
\xc2\xb7 Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with inventory team and management as required.
\xc2\xb7 Monitor expense categories.
