We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cafe Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in casual dining and food management, with a passion for customer service and team development. As the Cafe Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of food quality and service, and foster a positive work environment. We focus on traditional Italian products and want to ensure our customers know and understand our products.
Duties
Manage all aspects of cafe operations, including staffing, inventory management, and budgeting.
Train, develop, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Create and implement effective customer service strategies to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with culinary staff to design menus that meet customer preferences and seasonal trends.
Handle catering requests and coordinate special events as needed.
Utilize TOAST POS system for efficient order processing and inventory tracking.
Monitor financial performance, analyze sales data, and adjust strategies to meet budgetary goals.
Skills
Proven experience in casual dining, cafe, or hotel management is preferred.
Strong budgeting skills with the ability to manage costs effectively.
Excellent training development capabilities to foster employee growth.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
Knowledge of food management practices and catering operations.
Previous experience as an assistant manager or in a supervisory role is advantageous.
Culinary knowledge is a plus to assist in menu planning and execution.
Familiarity with TOAST POS system or similar point-of-sale software is beneficial.
