Role:

Our Card Services Manager will be responsible for the business operations of the debit and credit card portfolio as well as support the growth, risk and servicing for all activities related to the Credit Union\'s card products. This role will focus on improving third-party relationships necessary to develop the card portfolios.

Supervisory Responsibilities: As a leader, our Card Services Manager will collaborate cross-functionally to leverage different insights, approaches and problem-solving skills to achieve the goals and objectives of the Credit Union.

What you will be doing:

• Optimize the Credit Union\'s credit card and debit card programs which include Visa credit and debit card processing.
• Redesign the daily operations of the credit card and debit card programs to maximize efficiency for the Credit Union.
• Collaborate with our card servicing partner and other departments within the organization on identifying opportunities for growth and ensure campaigns are executed properly. Perform post-campaign reporting.
• Develop portfolio goals with an emphasis on driving card growth, activation, and utilization, while building strategies to achieve key performance goals.
• Identify, evaluate and manage risk within the Card Portfolios and implement risk mitigation strategies and activities.
• Audit activities and various department functions to ensure timely, accurate and complete processing of operational processes, as well as compliance with regulations, policies and procedures.
• Ensure that department general ledgers are in balance. Work with the Accounting Department and related areas to resolve out of balance situations.
• Strengthen critical relationships with third-party vendors to ensure continuity of service.
• Participate in the continual innovation of products, programs, and services. Work with the leadership team to assure alignment, consistency, and prioritization of business priorities and resource requirements.
• Prepare and adhere to the department\'s annual budget.
• Continually evaluate service quality by setting, maintaining and monitoring specific benchmarks to measure efficiency, accuracy and leverage of current technologies.
• Ensure Credit Union compliance with various Federal and network regulations, including but not limited to Regulation E, Regulation Z, Visa, Interlink, Plus, Star, and AFFN.
• Performs other job related duties as required.

What you\'ll bring along:

• Must have a Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration or related field from four-year college or university.
• 5 years of increasing responsibility in supervision of card services in a financial services environment.
• Expert knowledge and understanding of Reg E and Reg Z as it pertains to card transactions and ATM deposit disputes.
• Good knowledge and experience with Visa regulations.
• Ability to effectively communicate with members and other employees on complex account matters; exercise good problem-solving ability and attention to detail; adapt to new policies and procedures.
• Must have excellent working knowledge of Marketing, Lending, Sales & Service, Marketing, our Financial Centers and general working knowledge of accounting.
• Must be available to work overtime and Saturdays, as needed.
• Must be bondable.
