JOB SUMMARY

Looking to make a difference in the lives of our kpuna and community members? If you've completed a state-approved nurse aide training program, or hold certification as a health care professional, this is your chance to share your aloha spirit.



As a PCA Caregiver, you'll provide personal care services such as assisting with hygiene, grooming, bathing, dressing, mobility, and exercise. Whether it's helping someone start their day with a smile or preparing a home-cooked meal, your kokua is essential to ensuring our clients feel cared for and supported.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports directly to a supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience or training as a caregiver A kind heart, patience, and understanding for the unique needs of our kupuna and aging community Clean DMV record, automobile insurance, and a valid Hawaii driver's license (if driving during work hours)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Punctuality and commitment to scheduled shifts Ability to travel to client homes Positive and professional attitude, even under pressure Clear communication skills (verbal and written) Comfort performing light housekeeping duties Ability to assist clients safely with ambulation and mobility Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, walk, reach, bend, and perform daily caregiving tasks

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Training: Participate in Lifespan Hawaii's training programs to ensure you're prepared to provide top-notch care.



2. Personal Care Services:


Grooming, bathing, and skin care Dressing and oral hygiene Assistance with toileting, transfers, mobility, and exercise

3. Homemaker Services:


Keep homes sanitary with routine cleaning, laundry, and mending Help with errands, medication pick-ups, and shopping for essentials Prepare ono meals for clients
