JOB SUMMARY: The Carpenter repairs furniture, doors, windows, slot machine stands, gaming tables and cabinet work.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Fabricates office partitions, doors, cornices, counters, panel walls and ceilings.
• Works from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions, to obtain dimensions and finish specifications.
• Maintains preventive maintenance program.
• Determines method and sequence of work operation, quality and size of raw stock and hardware necessary to complete assignment.
• May also make working sketches of partitions, walls, fixtures and frames in order to complete required assignment.
• Maintains inventory of parts and material.
• A security escort is required should these persons perform these job functions in a restricted casino area.
• Performs duties as assigned, always presenting oneself as a credit to Caesars and encouraging others to do the same.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be physically strong.
• Must have knowledge of building codes.
• Previous casino maintenance experience preferred.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned task.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, climb ladders and work on man-lift type equipment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must be able to read and understand Architectural plans and Specifications.
