The Cooper Spur Ski Area Food and Beverage Cashier is a guest service position that works with the culinary team by taking orders and assisting with expediting orders. Additional responsibilities include lending a hand with food preparation, inventory, stocking of assigned stations, and the daily maintenance and cleaning of the work area.
This position is more than cashiering; it\xe2\x80\x99s all about creating an exceptional guest arrival experience. The Cashier is a part of a small team all working together to ensure the success of the Cooper Spur Ski Area, assisting with general duties in various other Cooper Spur departments such as rentals, ticket sales and parking.

• 16 years of age or older
• Excellent communication and guest service / hospitality skills
• Oregon Food Handlers Card or ability to obtain upon hire
• Ability to walk and carry up to 40 lbs upstairs, on uneven surfaces and slippery/slick surfaces
• Ability to shovel snow for extended periods of time
• Must be able to commit to working weekends and holidays during the winter season
• Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business

Preferred Experience

• Previous cash handling experience
• Previous experience working with a Point-of-Sale System
