At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests.THE JOB:Park MGM Casino Cashier Representative\'s role involves enhancing the service experience through accurate processing of customer and inter-departmental monetary transactions, delivering excellent guest service, and promoting the MGM Rewards program. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state and local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures. By delivering exceptional customer service you will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest\xe2\x80\x99s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.THE STARTING PAY RATE: $17.50 / Per HourTHE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Executes Casino Credit Policies including marker payments, issuance, deposits, and withdrawals
  • Executes Chip Bank duties such as Fills and Credits to the Pit and in the Cage
  • Assists guests with transactional needs within established guidelines
  • Ensures security of Company assets, including cash, chips, and tokens throughout the shift
  • Promotes, educates, and facilitates guest enrollment into the MGM Rewards program, MyVegas rewards program, and MGM Rewards Mastercard program
  • Issues FREEPLAY, complimentary play coupons, and adjusts tier credits for guests as per company policies
  • Upholds the highest standards of S.H.O.W. guest service program, addressing guest complaints by escalating to the Casino Cage Shift Supervisor
  • Uses Thorough knowledge of the Company\xe2\x80\x99s AML/Suspicious activity policy, promptly notifying Leadership of any unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or suspected theft
  • Demonstrates principles of responsible gaming, consistently promoting GameSense to all guests
  • Conducts end-of-shift balancing of all appropriate banks within the Cage under supervision, adhering to the departmental variance policy
  • Completes all required reports and forms accurately in compliance with Title 31 regulations
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Nevada State Gaming Registration
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
  • One (1) year of previous guest services experience in the Casino Cage department of a similar resort setting
  • One (1) year of previous banking experience
  • Proficiency in fundamental mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift
  • Has a firm understanding of Casino Operations
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
