We provide the highest level of care.Cats in the City, in Portland Oregon is looking for a cat grooming assistant for an opportunity with the most respected cat care team in the business.If you can provide consistently high-quality in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and are detail oriented, we are looking for you.This is a full-time positionPay: $20 to $25 per hour (based on your experience)Benefits:

- Ability to assess the needs of different cat coats and provide solutions. Perform as a lead groomer, which would include shaving, de-shedding, baths and more
- Customer support entailing administrative and clerical duties
- Highly professional and personal phone call, email, reservation and in person customer support processes
- Team leadership inside and outside the building
- Welcoming and guiding customers graciously through our services
- Following up, relationship building
- Responsible for explaining policies, explaining fees positively, handling payment transactions
- Managing and providing cat care updates to clients, managing photo library, keeping grooming records, and organizing correspondence
- Keeping the facility spotlessly clean (our reputation), managing the maintenance of the grounds
- Pet care duties may include applying flea treatment, giving cats food and water, monitoring food intake and elimination, providing medication to pets as instructed
- You are required to have an Oregon Drivers License so that you can provide pet shuttles using our vehicles and your vehicle
- Must be able to climb 50 flights of stairs a day and lift 50lb cat litter bags
