Job Description
DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians. Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist/Cardiologist.RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from accredited radiologic technology program.CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: ARRT or Board eligible, New Mexico State licensure required. BLS certification required. For recent graduates, BLS certification required within six months of hire. ACLS obtained within the first year.SKILLS:
- Thorough knowledge of associated radiographic equipment, neurologic and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills
- Thorough knowledge of interventional procedures in Cardiology and Radiology preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
