Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of various electronic devices including but not limited to iPhones, Android devices, other smartphones, tablets, computers, gaming systems, and other personal electronics.
- Identify and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently while ensuring the highest quality of workmanship.
- Replace damaged components such as screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, and other internal parts with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Conduct water damage treatment and repairs, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cell phone technology and repair techniques to continually enhance skills and knowledge.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining repair processes, and offering technical advice and recommendations.
- Handle common day-to-day operations such as opening/closing the retail store, placing parts orders, updating notes and status of ticketing system, etc.
- Proven experience as a cell phone repair technician, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of cell phone hardware components, circuitry, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment for cell phone repair, such as soldering irons, heat guns, and precision screwdrivers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure precise and meticulous repairs.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and professionally.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving repair procedures and technologies.
