Day.We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant in SURGERY at Aspirus Wausau Hospital to join our team!The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) functions in two roles as a service provider and a member of the multidisciplinary care team, responsible for providing care support and service tasks.Hours: Full-time or 0.9 FTE, 72 hours every 2 weeks. Varied Shifts; Weekend CallExperience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient care standards and general office practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience, and completion of a nursing assistant course.
• Graduation from an accredited vocational technical adult education program for Health Unit Coordinators (VTAE) or an approved Health Unit Coordinator program, or training/education to meet job requirements necessary.
• Two yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a nursing assistant in outpatient services beneficial.
• Two yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Health Unit Coordinator beneficial.
• Prior listing on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry required with current registry recommended.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Courses in computer applications and medical terminology.
• Annual accrual of CEUs/continuing education requirements per Education Council recommendation for the given year.
• Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
