Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists the Registered Nurse in providing care for a defined group of patients under the direction of an RN or other Clinical Provider. The CNA provides nursing care to promote recovery, prevent illness and assist patients and families to reach optimal health. The CNA may also be required to support the Clinical Unit with routine administrative, clerical tasks.
Education: High School education or equivalent is preferred. Must have a current Rhode Island CNA license. BLS required.
Experience: Prefer a minimum of one year in an acute care setting. Previous ICU/CCU experience required.
