We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of public accounting principles. This role involves managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The CPA will play a crucial role in forecasting and financial management, contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Manage accounts receivable and perform general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and assist in the preparation of forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
Utilize financial software, including Quicken, to streamline accounting processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
Collaborate with other departments to provide insights on financial performance and assist in budgeting activities.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to financial management.
Provide guidance on tax-related matters and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations that may impact the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is required.
Proven experience in public accounting or a similar role, demonstrating strong financial management skills.
Proficiency in financial software applications, particularly Quicken; familiarity with other accounting systems is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey financial information clearly to stakeholders.

Pay: $31.69 - $35.41 per hour
