Position Overview

:
We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic Cheer Coaches to lead an after-school cheer clinic for elementary school students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, experience in cheerleading, and the ability to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment where students can build skills, confidence, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

:

Plan and lead weekly cheerleading clinics for elementary-aged students, covering fundamentals such as basic cheers, cheer movements, dance moves, and routines. Foster a positive and encouraging environment to help students develop confidence, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring that all students feel welcome and supported. Supervise students before, during, and after clinic sessions, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with school staff and parents to communicate program details, schedules, and student progress. Organize and prepare students for potential performances or showcases.

Qualifications

:

High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or experience in education, sports, or a related field is a plus. Background in cheerleading (either as a coach or participant), with a strong understanding of cheer fundamentals. Experience working with children in a structured environment, such as teaching, coaching, or similar roles. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
