Career opportunity to join an expanding with global chemical leader in Eastern North Carolina. As part of the Technical Services Group, you\'ll provide technical support to operations and customers; participate in product, process and equipment research and development; analyze and implement data-driven initiatives from laboratory, pilot plant to scale-up; and ensuring QA of products and materials.
Responsibilities:
--- Coordinate and execute bench-top, pilot, manufacturing scale-up and verification batches with speed and robustness.
--- Support the development and optimization of new and existing products/ processes.
--- Provide workable solutions to highly complex formulations, technical challenges, and troubleshooting.
--- Conducts research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes.--- Designs and plans the layout of equipment.--- Conducts tests and monitors the performance of processes throughout production.--- Troubleshoots problems with manufacturing processes.--- Evaluates equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. --- Manages projects and maintains constant communication with cross functional groups to drive projects from concept through commercialization.--- Provide documentation to ensure the consistent manufacture of new products; including batch records, production instructions, validation and stability protocols in the development and commercialization of the products. Qualifications:--- BS Chemical Engineering degree with 6+ years in combination of project/ process engineering, product/process development, and regulatory requirements in polymers, minerals, chemical, and/or food science industries.--- Proficient in RCA, PSM, MS Project, AutoCad, MS Excel, Word.--- Only applicants authorized to legally work in the US without sponsorship can be considered.
