SummaryHometown Children's Center is hiring qualified Child Care Teachers .We are also hiring Assistant Child Care teachers. For this position you must have successfully completed the Intro to Child Care course. and be willing to take Skills and Strategies of the Childcare teacher upon hire. Assistant childcare teachers range of pay is $13-14 per hour.If you enjoy working in a small childcare center and love reading stories, playing outside and being creative, this is the job for you. Only serious qualified applicants need apply.DutiesProviding a pleasant, safe and clean environment.
Communicating with parents and providing updates daily.
Providing basic care for children which includes feeding, diaper changes and taking them to the bathroom.
Helping to develop social skills.
Encourage positive behavior.
Planning and implementing lesson plans.
Logging daily activities including daily activities, diapering and food intake.RequirementsThe applicants for Child Care Teacher must have successfully completed "Intro to Child Care" and "Skills and Strategies of the Child Care Teacher", or any equivalent courses. Experience is a plus but would prefersomeone who is a Level 4 or higher on the Wisconsin Registry.Must undergo a background/fingerprint check.Nice To HavesInfant Toddler classes.BenefitsPaid vacations and holidays after 90 day evaluation for Teachers only.
