Job Description

Jellison Law Offices is seeking an organized, dependable and experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal with 3+ years of experience in discovery, disclosures, deposition and trial preparation. The Firm routinely litigates cases in the Federal and State courts handling a variety of constitutional cases in defense of governmental entities, their agencies, and departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Experience in civil litigation in Federal or State courts. Ability to draft discovery requests and responses; Ability to draft disclosure statements; Prepare deposition preparation binders and prep sessions; Prepare for and assist in trials; Organize and maintain electronic client files; Knowledge of rule sets Calendaring Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, co-workers, courts and opposing counsel; and Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Three+ of civil litigation experience. Knowledge of courts, E-Filing (ECF & TurboCourt), Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Zoom, DropBox. Ability to work independently and to multi-task while demonstrating strong attention to detail. Maintain client confidentiality. Strong communication and time management skills. Must be a team player.
