About the Role The Claims Clerk performs a variety of clerical functions relating to receiving, auditing, and entering claims into computer system utilizing information from various platforms. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Inputs claims into computer system and assigns claims to appropriate adjuster.
• Creates claim file using documentation from various internal programs.
• Verifies claimant shipment information by use of various internal programs.
• Verifies shortages, calculations, and price extensions on cargo claims prior to inputting in to program.
• Verifies all automobile manufacturers\xe2\x80\x99 claim information prior to inputting into system and submitting same to Cargo Claims Manager.
• Verifies customer contact information by use of internal programs or delivery paperwork prior to inputting the claim into system.
• Files auto surveyor\xe2\x80\x99s reports, vehicle and exception reports, and additional receiving/delivery shipment information.
• Responsible for cataloging archived files with Profile.
• Responsible for all filing.
• Processes invoices for review and approval by Cargo Claims Manager.
• Reviews paid claims to verify dollar amounts in processing claimant checks. Prepares checks as needed and maintains check register.
• Directs walk-in claimants to appropriate personnel, accepts, monitors, and responds to customer telephone calls regarding claims questions.
• Provides delivery documentation to register vehicles in Hawaii.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) to Five (5) years of data entry experience.
