Position Summary:

Responsible for safely transporting goods to retails stores. Role model and demonstrate the company\'s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.

Essential Job Functions:

• Safely and efficiently deliver product to the retail stores
• Achieve precise delivery time
• Adhere to corporate and departmental engineered labor and safety standards
• Maintain compliance with all DOT and FMCRS regulations which include but not limited to pre and post inspections, hours of service, medical cards and drug and alcohol compliance
• Unload merchandise at store.
• Pick up goods at vendor locations (backhauls) and verifies products and quantities as loaded.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, push/pull and lift

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Valid CDL with proper indorsements and medical card
• Minimum 21 years of age where applicable by law
• Ability to work weekends, nights, overtime and holidays on a regular basis
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Ability to learn and operate onboard computers
• Commitment to providing customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important and appreciated.
• Ability to back trailers safely in to store docks or vendor locations
• Ability to operate the following; over-the -road tractors, refrigeration units, dollies, electric or manual pallet jacks
• Ability to occasionally lift 80 pounds

Desired Previous Job Experience

• Two years tractor trailer experience
• Driving record free of accidents and points

Education Level:High School Diploma/GED Desired
Required Certifications/Licenses:CDL A
