Job Description

Responsibilities include the following:



Develops and maintains a professional and polite relationship with clients by communicating effectively and always looking out for their best interest. Maintains client A/R using system reports. Addresses issues and follows through on outstanding inventory until it is resolved. Analyzes and identifies trends in denials, rejections, and recommends areas of improvement by data entry staff or client. Takes initiative to pro-actively prevent problems and offer efficient solutions to on-going issues. Communicates status of client and any issues or areas for improvement effectively to manager on a regular basis. Makes sure that all RCM functions are performed accurately on a daily basis. Ensures quality of all aspects of service to the customer.Provides feedback, guidance, and documentation to the Remote Team to maximize quality, efficiency and resolution rate. Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling, sorting information, and establishing data entry priorities. Processes customer documents by reviewing data for deficiencies and resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures of returning incomplete documents to the manager for resolution. Oversees the entry of charge data. Oversees the processing of payment data. verifies correctness of customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, running a daily recap, balancing and updating. Maintains data entry requirements by following standard operating procedures. Provides and accepts feedback to reduce errors and improve quality and efficiency. Maintains customer confidence and maintains HIPAA compliance by protecting PHI and keeping information confidential. Successfully performs any additional duties that may be assigned as necessary.

Job Requirements:



Must have 3 years' experience in medical billing, multispecialty a plus High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or a related role within the healthcare industry is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, billing procedures, and healthcare regulations is essential.
