Description:

• This role assists with ASD and Nurse Liaison role to work with patients and family members throughout the Ambulatory Department.
• Reporting to the Director of Surgery with over 20 years of institutional knowledge
• An innovator in minimally invasive surgery, Holy Cross Hospital was first in Montgomery County to offer robotic surgery with the da Vinci\xc2\xae surgical system in 2008 and in 2017

Responsibilities:

• Documents the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate goal focused, individualized, safe, age-specific routine patient care Educates patients and family
• Planning continuum of care

What you will need

Required:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree
• Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association); additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements.

Preferred:

• BSN or MSN preferred.
• 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
