This position is located in Hilo, Hawai\'i. The Big Island of Hawai\'i offers amazing rainforests, waterfalls and beaches. SUMMARY:

The Clinical Psychologist will serve as faculty at the Hawai\'i Island Family Medicine Residency Program, providing clinical and didactic instruction on topics relevant to behavioral health.

This provider will help develop and manage outpatient behavioral health programs across all East Hawaii Health Clinics under the supervision and direction of the Medical Director for Hawaii Health Systems Corporation\'s East Hawaii Region. This provider will oversee professional development programs, monitoring of clinical quality and productivity, and training of psychology fellows. Learners may include residents, medical students, and pharmacy students. This provider will need to be a part of committee participation.

EXPERIENCE:

This position requires experience in a community setting, delivery of culturally-appropriate services, patient education, outreach, and referral across a network of services. While the focus of care will be in an outpatient primary care clinic, services may include possible consults in the Emergency Department and Acute Care setting.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of a Psy.D. or Ph.D. from an APA-accredited program. LCSW candidates will be considered.
