Degree: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
Education: Graduate from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
Internship/Residency:
Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.
A one year fellowship or residency in health psychology or behavioral medicine
OR
Possess one year of experience in the last four years in the evaluation and treatment of patients who have pain, psychological factors affecting their physical condition, or difficulty coping with medical problems.
Experience: Must have experience as a Clinical Psychologist and shall be required to demonstrate clinical competency within the past 2 years in the required clinic discipline.
Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands.
Certifications: BLS certification hands on course
Additional Requirements:
The HCWs must successfully complete the Tri Service Internal Behavioral Health Consultant
(IBHC) training course within 60 days of performance.
In addition, the HCW must meet the passing criteria for IBHC core competencies (i.e., scores a minimum of 3 out of 5 on DoD Core Competency Skills Form) as determined by a government expert trainer. This demonstration of IBHC core competencies may occur at any time after successful completion of the IBHC training.
If a HCW fails to pass the IBHC training or fails to demonstrate IBHC core competency, the contractor shall be required to provide a new HCW. The contractor shall not present the same HCW for another attempt.
In order to promote continuity of services, the government will only provide IBHC training and travel funds for two completion attempts for the life of the requirement under the contract, inclusive of any subsequent logical follow-ons or option periods. If more than two completion attempts are necessary to comply with the task order requirements, the burden of cost for additional training and travel shall be borne by the contractor.
U.S. Citizenship: HCWs performing under this contract shall be U.S. citizens.
English Language Requirement: Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate.
Physical Capability: Shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract.
HOURS:
Monday through Friday 06:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
