Summary of Job Duties: The Cloud Solution Engineer designs, implements, and supports public cloud-based solutions including cloud collaboration tools along with key on-premise integrations to identity account management.

The primary responsibilities of the Cloud Solution Engineer will include designing cloud-based solutions that meet customer needs and requirements. The engineer implements solutions using public cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS). The engineer develops automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud infrastructure deployment and management.

The Cloud Solution Engineer troubleshoots cloud infrastructure issues and provides timely resolutions along with optimizing cloud infrastructure performance and cost efficiency. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application, security, networking, and other technical staff to ensure the successful delivery of cloud-based solutions.

Additionally, the Cloud Solution Engineer will maintenance identity and authentication services that exist on premises and ensure identity information is consistent between on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

Two years of experience administrating public cloud platforms

Five years of experience in an IT position, including one year in a senior role

Demonstrable experience building and supporting public cloud-based systems/networks

Two or more years of experience with Azure platform/services

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure Cloud related certification(s)

Experience with Microsoft 365 administration

Experience with Active Directory domain administration

Experience with technical leadership along with mentoring others

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to understand and communicate complex technology concepts clearly

Strong analytical, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills

Interpersonal and leadership skills for collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation

Ability to work independently and as a member of a project team

Ability to perform multiple tasks and to prioritize assignments
