Interim Healthcare of Eastern Dakotas is hiring certified Medication Aides in the Yankton, SD area and offers transparent and flexible self-scheduling \xe2\x80\x94 you get to create and manage your own schedule, and you will make $24-$27/hour.

• Part-Time/PRN/Full-Time Hours and Contract Eligibility
• Base Pay Rates: $24-$27+ per hour, paid weekly and/or biweekly

:

• Care for the personal care of patients/residents in facilities such as nursing homes and assisted living facilities
• Administer medication to residents/patients per policy and procedure
• Work with facility nurses, CNAs, Med Aides, caregivers etc. to provide excellent patient care
• Assist with eating and nutritional intake of residents/patients as needed
• Observe patient and notify facility DON/supervisor/charge nurse of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment
• Possess your valid, unexpired Med Aide certification with the state of South Dakota
• Willingness to travel to area facilities may be necessary
• Willingness to work training shifts for those who have recently earned their Med Aide certification

Experience:

• Active Certified Medication Aide within South Dakota

• Maintains required certification(s)
• Experience highly preferred but not required
• Must be 18 years of age
• Proof of vaccination documentation or vaccine declinations
