Overview:

Astral at Franklin, a part of Franciscan Ministries, is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants \xe2\x80\x93 CNA\xe2\x80\x99s who are customer and patient focused to become a part of a health care company whose mission is to celebrate life and serve with joy. They work hands-on with our residents on a daily basis assisting with any caregiving needs and work under the direction of a licensed nurse. Experience in a Senior Living organization is a plus!

Astral at Franklin is a assisted living community offering a variety of senior lifestyle options including independent living, assisted living, memory support assisted living. Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance/services as required or instructed
• Observe and report any changes in resident\xe2\x80\x99s physical/emotional condition to the licensed nurse
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and co-workers
• Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education
• Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family

Required skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• One year of caregiving experience
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
