Qualifications
Must have excellent people skills, be able to work as a team member, and be skilled at problem solving
Hold a current license to practice as an LPN or RN in the state of Utah
Must have at least 2 years full time nursing experience, one of which must have been in long term care
Position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescue CPR
Ability to positively interact with staff, students, and faculty
Ability to set-up and use video equipment
Ability to maintain safety and hygiene standards
Ability to lift, move, and carry a training mannequin
Ability to be creative and resourceful
Knowledge and understanding of student and faculty requirements for nursing lab procedures, skills, and testing
Must have basic general computer literacy skills
Knowledge of the certified nursing concepts, terminology, and techniques
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to keep confidences
Major Responsibilities/Duties
Assist CNA Instructor with students in the laboratory-days of the week/hours may vary according to semester schedule
Assists in being responsible for maintaining optimum conditions of the laboratory and security/safety of the laboratory equipment and materials
Supervise CNA clinicals, including extended hours-clinicals to be done at various site locations
Support the philosophy, objectives and policies of Snow College and Allied Health Nursing department
Provide communication within CNA program by attending department faculty/curriculum meetings as directed by CNA Supervisor
Perform such other tasks and assume such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
