At Central Maine Healthcare our team members are committed to providing exceptional care and experiences for our community and for each other every day.Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Orthopedic Institute team!Up to $5,000 sign on bonus available!*This is a Part Time, benefits eligible position on the day shiftPosition Summary:The CNA provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or physician. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of a RN.Education and Experience:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in the State of Maine required

• Active on the State of Maine CNA registry required

• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS within 6 months of hire required

• 1 year of continuous CNA experience preferred

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred

What You Will Be Doing:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care and comfort.
• Communicate with providers and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition and needs of the patientxe2x80x99s family.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care services that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.
• Provide care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
