CNA1 or CNA2 AACH (General Medicine)

Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.9 | Full Time | 3rd Shift - Nights, Pattern Schedule

As a CNA at Asante, you will have the opportunity to earn the following shift differentials:

• $1.21 extra per hour for hours worked between 3:00pm-11:00pm
• $2.05 extra per hour for hours worked between 11:00pm-7:00am
• $1.05 extra per hour for hours worked on weekend shifts

For this role, candidates at either the CNA-2 or the CNA-1 level will be considered

CNA-2: Typical Starting Range is $19.27 and up (based on years of relevant experience)

CNA-1: Typical Starting Range is $18.10 and up (based on years of relevant experience). Bump in pay upon obtaining CNA-2 license.

What You\'ll Do

• Become a vital member of the patient care team and build a strong relationship with the CNA2s and RNs
• Promote patient safety and comfort while actively participating in patient satisfaction
• Demonstrate advanced Responsive Observations knowledge base in practice of care
• Document patient and family responses and effectiveness of teaching and interventions per department standards
• Provide excellent communication between staff and patients and patient families
• Promote and maintain Asante\'s Vision and Values

What You Must Have

• Either a CNA-2 or CNA-1 certified by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

• This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis - such as transferring a patient in and out of a bed. The ability to bend, stretch, twist and perform other awkward physical movements is also required.
