CNA2 Pediatric Acute at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is a 0.6 FTE, Full-time position on an Evening shift.

$4,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

The CNA 2/HUC is a key person within the decentralized nursing unit, who provides overall administrative and technical support in the operation of the unit; collaborates with other staff and leaders in the development, oversight, and operation of the unit; and performs CNA II patient care duties. Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

Required qualification:

• Health Unit Coordinator or secretarial coursework along with a medical terminology course or experience Or equivalent educ/experience

• 1 year experience performing secretarial duties in a health care environment.
• Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course Or equivalent educ/experience

• Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.
• Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Experience with a variety of software applications.

Preferred qualification:

• 1 year Acute care hospital experience, ideally performing CNA and/or Health Unit Coordinator duties.
• 1 year Experience as a CNA 2.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
