About the Opportunity:xe2x88x99 Job Title: CNC Milling Specialistxe2x88x99 Pay: $30/Hourxe2x88x99 Location: New Brighton, MNxe2x88x99 Schedule: 2nd Shift, Mon-Fri 3PM-11PM with possible O/T.Daily functions: * Program CNC Mills for the most efficient machining of close tolerance work.

• Operate all machines, manual and CNC, safely to build molds, electrodes and related tooling.
• Develop the proper sequence necessary to run CNC machines most efficiently.
• Complete proper paperwork to track labor costs in the Tool Room.
• Identify problems when analyzing drawings and recommend alterations which would create a more cost-effective process.
• Work with other Mold makers on team projects.
• Train other machinists by preparing the worker, demonstrating the operation, observing the worker perform the operation, and following up.
• Maintain clean machines, equipment, and organized work areas.
• Responsibility to protect confidential information and Intellectual Property.
• Follow safety requirements as outlined in the safety manual.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned Preferred.

Desired qualifications: * Eighteen-month vocational diploma in Machining-OR-Tool, Die and Mold making.

• Three yearsxe2x80x99 experience running CNC Milling Machines.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Fundamental understanding of geometry and mathematics.

Physical requirements: * Lifting 75 pounds.

• Standing while running machines.
• Manual dexterity.
• 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses.
• Normal level of hearing with or without the use of a corrective device.
