Schedule Monday- Friday
Full Time - starting pay range $22.00-$28.50 per hour based on experience

Summary

• Support the management of commercial insurance and worker\xe2\x80\x99s compensation programs in WA, OR, MT, AK, ID, CA, and NV
• Support the day-to-day administration of worker\xe2\x80\x99s compensation claims, 3rd party insurance claims, property claims and other general commercial risk and claims related activities

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Commercial Insurance

• Supporting the annual commercial insurance renewal process through data gathering, data reporting and follow up with appropriate internal and external parties

2. Worker\xe2\x80\x99s Compensation

• Support the Commercial Risk Management and Claims Specialist with all aspects of worker\xe2\x80\x99s compensation claims, including the claims reporting process to the appropriate 3rd party carrier and all necessary follow up
• Regularly follow up on claims with Managers and Team Members as appropriate
• Monitor and report on all workplace injury related accident investigations
• Support the completion of all government and other required reports in a timely manner

3. 3rd Party Liability Claims

• Support the management of all aspects of 3rd Party Liability claims, including the claims reporting process to the appropriate 3rd party carrier and all necessary follow up
• Follow up as appropriate with Managers and Team Members to ensure all facts and information regarding 3rd Party Liability claims are accurate and recorded
• Track, monitor, and report on 3rd Party liability investigations to ensure appropriate and accurate data is recorded and filed

4. Administration

• Assist with developing and implementing effective and efficient commercial insurance processes, procedures, and best practices
• Facilitate and respond as necessary to requests for Certificates of Insurance
• Support the maintenance and retention of all commercial insurance records including renewal submissions, policies, endorsements, etc.

Education/Experience/Skills

• 2-year or 4-year college degree preferred, HS diploma required
• Previous safety and/or risk management experience preferred but not required
• Strong computer skills (MS Office) required
• Ability to research and analyze various types of data
• Ability to make recommendations that effectively resolve issues by using consistent and practical judgment
• High degree of honesty, ethics, and integrity with prior work experience handling confidential information preferred
• Strong presentation skills and speaking in front of groups of people
• Some travel required, same day and/or overnight as necessary
