A successful Commercial Installation Refrigeration Technician consistently delivers flawless installations of complex refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and exceeding client expectations. Responsibilities of the Commercial Refrigeration Install Technician:

• Expertly assemble and install various commercial refrigeration systems.
• Connect refrigeration units to electrical panels, ensuring proper wiring and grounding.
• Install ductwork, piping, and additional components as required.
• Thoroughly test and calibrate new systems for optimal performance.
• Maintain clear and effective communication throughout the project.
• Prioritize safety by adhering to protocols and regulations, especially when handling refrigerants and electrical systems.
• Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with guidelines.
• Uphold a clean and organized work environment to minimize risks.
• Mentor and train apprentice technicians, sharing knowledge and expertise.
• Assist with inventory management, ensuring sufficient parts and supplies are available.
• Actively participate in ongoing training to stay ahead of industry trends and technologies.

Requirements of the Commercial Refrigeration Install Technician:

• Have 3-5 years of experience working with commercial coolers and freezers.
• Experience with ice machines, condensing units and line sets is ideal.
• EPA Certification required.
• A solid understanding of how refrigeration systems and their parts work.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must own hand tools.
• Ability to work on-call every 6 weeks.
• Ability to work well on your own and with others.
• Skilled at finding and fixing problems quickly and efficiently.
• A valid license with a clean driving history.
