JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for general maintenance of refrigeration cases, equipment and other general labor support to more senior Service Technicians. Perform all duties in accordance with the company\xe2\x80\x99s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

\xc2\xb7 Repair, replacement, and refurbishment of refrigeration equipment. (i.e. walk-ins, case end doors and hardware).

\xc2\xb7 Sheet metal repair of freezers, coolers and HVAC units.

\xc2\xb7 Trim new cases, remove and replace trim on existing cases.

\xc2\xb7 HVAC change outs and installations.

\xc2\xb7 Install refrigerated cases (i.e. close-offs).

\xc2\xb7 Replace exhausted hooded vents.

\xc2\xb7 Provides support by picking up, delivering, installing and repairing walk-ins.

\xc2\xb7 Drives company vehicle, when required, in a safe manner.

\xc2\xb7 Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

\xc2\xb7 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience general carpentry work and sheet metal work on repairing and refurbishing refrigeration cases and equipment.

\xc2\xb7 High school diploma or GED, course work at an accredited vocational technical or trade school

\xc2\xb7 A valid and current Driver license

\xc2\xb7 Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information

\xc2\xb7 Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to apply common sense in performing job

\xc2\xb7 Ability to make decisions that have a moderate to significant impact on the work performed

\xc2\xb7 Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology

\xc2\xb7 Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on short-term basis

\xc2\xb7 Ability to count accurately

\xc2\xb7 Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy

\xc2\xb7 Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines

\xc2\xb7 Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters, and/or conduct routine oral communication

\xc2\xb7 Ability to compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports and/or to orally communicate technical information

\xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate with individuals utilizing a telephone; requires ability to hear and speak effectively on the telephone

\xc2\xb7 Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, communicating orally with others accurately, audibly, and quickly.
