Anticipated End Date: 2024-06-13Position Title: Communications Manager (US):Communications ManagerLocations: Preferred location \xe2\x80\x93 IN-Indianapolis. The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations. Additional locations near an NGS office will be considered; MD-Baltimore, NY-East Syracuse, PA-Harrisburg, ME-South Portland, TX-Denison, MA Hingham. This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Depending on location and proximity to an NGS location, will determine hybrid schedule with the highest in-office commitment being 1-2 days in an office per week.National Government Services is a proud member of Elevance Health\xe2\x80\x99s family of brands. We administer government contracts for Medicare and partner with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to transform federal health programs.The Communication Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the internal and external communications plan for an assigned business unit while ensuring consistency in messaging.How you will make an impact:Leads the research of both internal and external communication needs and establishes goals and objectives.Acts as communications lead for key projects.Works with senior executives in message preparation including, writing, editing, and strategic planning of messages to internal audiences.Develop talking points and other presentations for the senior team.Leads strategic development of messages for management.Leads the award nomination process and award content development for National Government Services. Collaborates closely with National Government Services and Federal Government Solutions Leadership on internal and external messaging.Serves as senior editor of corporate and/or online communications.Works with intranet and internet team in posting appropriate messages and maintaining site content.Minimum Requirements:Requires a BA/BS in public relations, journalism, communications, or related area; 7 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.This position is part of our NGS (National Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.Preferred Experience, Skills, and CapabilitiesMaster\xe2\x80\x99s Degree PreferredGraphics design experience preferred. Working knowledge of the health insurance industry is preferred.For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $85,200 to $127,800Locations: California; Colorado; Hawaii; Nevada; New York; Washington State; Jersey City, NJIn addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
