Company Overview

Flavor Uma provides food-based nutrition experiences to adults, families, and teams. We are seeking contract and part-time instructors to host healthy cooking and wellness programs for families, adults, and youth.

While teachers who are not proficient in Spanish are welcome to apply, candidates fluent in Spanish are preferred.

Our Teachers:

Deliver hands-on healthy cooking instruction along with nutrition, arts, literacy, and fitness activities. Travel to schools, businesses, and community spaces to set up and facilitate cooking experiences. Teach a variety of classes tailored for families, youth, and adults.

Qualifications:

Experience teaching groups of 15 or more. Excellent classroom management skills. Knowledge of nutrition and healthy eating. Experience instructing both adults and youth. Passion for promoting health and wellness among children and families. Strong communication skills for interacting with students and parents.

Hours and Pay:

Hours vary to meet program needs, with classes typically scheduled between 8 AM and 8 PM. Career advancement opportunities for ambitious professionals. Pay ranges from $15 to $18 per hour, based on experience.
