They serve as advocates for all of those in our Northeast Ohio community, especially the most vulnerable.Job Summary:The Community Engagement Manager iis a highly professional, flexible ambassador for CAHC. Executes deliverables that support the growth of both community and patient relationships. The Manager operates within the Care Alliance mission guidelines with community engagement including health education, screenings, special events, and linkage to care in the community setting.RequirementsDesign and execute CAHC grassroots presence in the community including development of annual calendar, engagement of key messages and activities, with the goal of increasing participation in Care Alliance services by our surrounding communities and target populations.Participate in chamber of commerce, roundtables and other professional boards and organizations .Organize, attend, and participate in special events and promotions. Assist Clinical and administrative teams in addressing market specific initiatives and coordination of liaison activities.Plan, develop and implement partnership activities including but not limited to strategic plan deliverables, patient care and hospital and community organization relationships. Successfully create and manage short term campaigns or long-term programs, including measuring deliverables, scheduling, and executing activities and monitoring successServe as representative/spokesperson for CAHC at meetings, special events, and with prospective and current community and corporate partners. Establish inroads and positive relationships with organizations and neighborhood stakeholders including but not limited to schools, places of worship, businesses, recreation centers, and social service providers to support the mission of Care Alliance. Ensure there is effective communication and advertisement for all events.Create ways to connect new patients to CAHC with an emphasis on the uninsured, and the underinsured. Spearhead community-based health education and engagement activities to increase access and linkage to CAHC services and strengthen relationships.Ensure the accurate reporting of engagements and patients served and provide required reports.Educate, train and develop staff, Ensure data is collected and reported properly.Minimum Education and Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in healthcare administration, community health, human services or a related field\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 3 years of people management experience\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 5 years\' experience in community outreach, community health and/or social service resources\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 5 years\' experience fostering effective collaborative relationships with a wide range of community partners- Must be extremely flexible and able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays wen needed.\xc2\xb7 Must have strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to work with patients and fellow staff members in an effective manner with sensitivity for diverse populations.\xc2\xb7 Excellent oral and written communication skills.\xc2\xb7 Experience working with underserved and disadvantaged persons.\xc2\xb7 Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
