Be part of our team at ManTech as a Configuration Management Specialist and support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Enterprise Manager. We\'re seeking an individual who is well-versed in configuration management and has a solid background in supporting AWS land-based site computer program builds and installations. As a Configuration Management Specialist at ManTech, you\'ll play a crucial role in supporting the NSWCDD Enterprise Manager by ensuring efficient computer program builds and installations for AWS land-based sites. Your expertise in configuration management and familiarity with AEGIS Combat Systems will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of these systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting AWS land-based site computer program builds and installations.
  • Generating media and performing computer program media status accounting
  • Generating transmittal requests and aiding in process definition and improvement
  • Participating in various review and status meetings
  • Assisting in shipboard and site audits/media verifications
  • Traveling up to 20% OCONUS and CONUS as needed
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma and two to four years of related experience in configuration management with Aegis
  • Solid knowledge of the Navy\'s AEGIS Combat Systems
  • Proficiency in configuration and process management
  • Experience with Advanced Configuration Control and Engineering Status System (ACCESS) database
  • Ability to generate media from electronically transmitted files on VAX, UNIX, and LINUX platforms.
  • Proficient in script and command file generation for media on VAX, UNIX, and LINUX platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to attend various review and status meetings.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have a current/active Secret clearance.
  • United States Citizen
Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and virtual means.
  • Capacity to travel up to 20% within Contiguous United States (CONUS) or Outside the Contiguous United States (OCONUS).
