KMEA is an environmental, energy, engineering, and sustainability (E3S) consulting company providing professional engineering, scientific, and technical services to our clients throughout the United States and internationally. We are seeking a Construction Inspector to perform work on an airfield project at Tinker Air Force Base near Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Working at this location is a requirement for the job. Responsibilities include: Performing Title II construction inspection and oversight. Providing design review and suggestions for correcting errors. Reviewing material, equipment, and commissioning submittals. Supporting construction contractor Requests-For-Information. Notifying the Contracting Officer (CO) and COR of critical issues that may affect the contract performance and/or human health and the environment. Providing photographs and maintaining daily log of construction activities. Performing most assignments independently, but consulting with others and receiving technical guidance on unusual or complex problems. Planning work and meeting deadlines without supervisors action. Following company safety standards and site safety standards. Understanding and adhering to company policies. Other duties as assigned.
