POSITION DESCRIPTION

HGL is currently seeking a Construction Manager II to support projects in our Hudson, OH location. The position is fully remote. This position will be responsible for bidding, planning, staff, start-up and execution of HGL\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio of environmental remediation projects for the USEPA, USACE, NASA, and various agencies across the United States and territories. Projects may include remediation, demolition, mine-waste cleanup, in-situ thermal treatment, landfill cap construction, radioactive soil, contaminated sediment removals, and groundwater treatment (both in-situ and pump-n-treat) and stabilization projects.

Responsibilities/Duties

WHAT YOU\'LL BE DOING

The person hired for this role will be responsible for:

• Construction Management.
• Supporting environmental construction proposal and management teams.
• Staff Training and Mentoring.
• Technical writing and reviews.
• Supporting Civil and Environmental Design Projects.
• Ensuring project objectives are met.
• Project schedule development and review.
• Subcontractor Management.
• Quality Control.
• Work Plan and Closure Report Development.
• Lead various communication meetings.
• Expected 50% Travel within the U.S.

Required Skills

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

The ideal candidate will need the following as a foundation for success in this role:

• 10 plus years of hands-on experience on Environmental remediation projects for DoD clients in Site Supervisor position
• The above-described experience on project involving soil, sediment or mine waste remediation, In-situ and ex-situ groundwater treatment and Landfill or thermal remediation.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project).

Preferred Skills

WHAT YOU NEED TO STAND OUT

• Experience with USACE 3-phase Quality Control process and RMS Information Management System.
• Hands on MS Project or P6 experience
• PFAS/PFOA experience
