The TMX Finance\xc2\xae Family of Companies is looking for a Construction Remodel PM to join a fast-paced, project-driven team that executes and provides results to set our business up for success. As Construction Remodel PM, you will help manage our remodel and rebrand pipelines, ensuring all projects are completed on time, on budget, and meets the organization\'s standards. Your attention to detail balanced with your project management skills will be your keys to success as you outline and help develop projects from inception to execution. Specific focus will be managing extensive construction and facilities repairs while keeping the offices open with minimal impact to daily business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Remodel Project Manager on the Construction Team to facilitate project progress, manage change orders, construction schedules, and ensure approved designs are executed accordingly.
  • Develop relationships with General Contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers and maintain those relationships to ensure project success across the company\'s nationwide footprint of locations.
  • Review project documents, including contracts, plans, bids, and scopes of work for a thorough understanding of each project.
  • Coordinate installations for network, security, signs, and delivery of FF&E with internal teams and outside vendors.
  • Manage and organize contract documents and addenda, and ensure all documents are properly archived.
  • Ensure warranty work for all projects is completed and documented according to TMX standards in a timely manner.
  • Partner and collaborate with members of the Real Estate and Leasing department, IT department, Marketing department as well as other members of the Construction department as required for each project.
  • Complete other essential duties and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Construction Management or a related field
  • Valid Driver\'s License
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction or a combination of commercial and residential construction in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity of construction methods and materials as they relate to tenant improvements/fit outs, and facility management challenges.
  • Understanding of trade responsibilities within the overall construction contract
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Must be a highly motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with construction contract law principles and terminology
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with the need to maintain a constant workflow
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel and Publisher
  • Minimal travel with personal vehicle may be required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have a valid Driver\'s License
  • Physical demands for this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, move about freely inside and occasionally outside of the office, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

  • Revit and/or AutoCAD experience
  • Experience with Adobe software products
  • Experience with Smartsheet
  • Experience with Service Channel
  • Trade Certifications/Trade licenses
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
