job summary:
Safety Manager needed at leading company located near Martinsburg, WV. You will be responsible to to assist leading the site\'s Environmental, Health and Safety Plan. To be considered - must have at least five (5) years of construction safety leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. APPLY NOW!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have at least five (5) years of safety leadership experience within a manufacturing environment

• Experience in LOTO, line breaks, excavation, lifting and rigging, crane operations, demolition, confined space, working at height, steel erection, scaffolding and other construction processes

• Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety

• Proficient in MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Microsoft Forms and Power BI)

• OSHA 30 certification

Preferred:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Safety and Health OR related field

• OSHA 500/510/CHST

responsibilities:

• Advise, coach and lead employees and other contractors to provide an excellent safety culture

• Conduct safety orientations, educate, and train employees on safe practices, company policies, procedures, and regulations

• Implement innovative HS&E programs and strategies in the areas of behavior-based safety, auditing for compliance, safety management systems, process safety and risk management

• Provide coaching and support to all site construction field operations

• Conduct risk assessment & safety inspections of work areas and enforce policies

• Lead and participate in incident investigations identifying root causes and corrective actions
