Job Description

As a Construction Superintendent for 3rd shift interior renovation of a grocery store, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all construction activities during the night shift. You will ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while minimizing disruptions to store operations.

The Construction Superintendent - Maine - 3rd Shift is responsible for

Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of skilled tradespeople, subcontractors, and laborers during the 3rd shift.

Safety Compliance: Enforce and maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to ensure the safety of all team members and store personnel.

Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project plans and specifications.

Scheduling: Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule for the night shift, including daily tasks, milestones, and deadlines.

Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with project stakeholders, including the project manager, store management, and subcontractors.

Problem Solving: Identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the renovation process, finding practical solutions to keep the project on track.

Cost Management: Monitor project costs, track expenses, and work with the project manager to control expenditures within the established budget.

Documentation: Keep accurate records of project progress, daily reports, and any changes or deviations from the original plan.

Store Operations Coordination: Collaborate with store management to ensure minimal disruption to store operations and customer experience during the renovation.

The Construction Superintendent - Maine - 3rd Shift- will be responsible for

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in commercial or Supermarket interior renovation projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule.
• OSHA certification and knowledge of safety regulations.
• Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation.
